Is Marvel's Morbius worth the wait?

Warning: Spoilers ahead! If you have waited with bated breath for the often delayed Marvel's Morbius starring DC's Suicide Squad veteran Jared Leto, you may wanna take a pause and actually see the film.
With the term "villain-origin story" garnering popularity in internet slang, you will find that Morbius is a villain origin story like no other. It follows the journey of Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) who is born with a rare disease of the blood that leads him to splice and alter his genes with bat DNA to find that he has turned into a vampire with bloodlust to match. In classic hats-off to the vampire genre Dr. Morbius then spend tortuous days attempting to not give into said bloodlust Incidentally, his best friend Milo (Matt Smith) also has the disease, and also happens to inject himself with the altered DNA-only Milo has no intention of curbing his bloodlust.
The film opened in the domestic box office in The US with the honorific "number one" title card and grossed USD 39 million within the first weekend. It also shivers Morbius into the same multiverse as Venom and possibly Spider-Man (if the end credits are any indication).
