Will they have a way home? Why Netflix is removing Marvel's Defenders

The Defenders was released in 2017netflix

"Last Day to watch on Netflix, February 28" began popping up on Netflix cues for the Defenders series - Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist and -though not technically a Defender, The Punisher as well.

The Defenders was released in 2017and told the story of an unlikely grouping of Superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (sans Avengers) to take on The Hand, an organization exempt from ravages of time and hell-bent on destroying New York City.
It was in late 2018 and early 2019, when fans got an inclination of what was to come, when Netflix killed off all the shows set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What happened? 2019 was the year Disney Plus was launched. Since Marvel is owned by Disney, it can hardly allow Netflix, its biggest streaming rival, to profit off of its property - the shows and their spinoffs. Disney+ would also go on to make several spinoff series from the Avengers ensemble such as Loki and WandaVision.
While the future remains uncertain for these MCU characters, one of the most beloved of them, Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock a.k.a Daredevil put in a surprise appearance in fan-favorite Spiderman: No Way Home. Marvel also announced plans for the favorite neighborhood lawyer to reprise his role, but did not specify when and how.
