Marvel Avengers spinoff series Hawkeye will debut on Disney + this Wednesday, 24 November (eastern Standard Time).
Jeremy Renner reprises his role as the gloomy and much darker Clint Barton or Hawkeye who is still haunted by his murderous actions in Avengers: Endgame. According to the synopsis of the first season of Hawkeye, Clint is also haunted by ghosts from his past that make it hard for him to return to a normal life with his family who were "returned" following the final "flip" in Endgame.
Hailee Steinfeld is also seen in the trailer in a car chase with Clint, shooting arrows at an enemy gang in her role as Kate Bishop. In the comics, Kate is a character gifted with pretty good skills with a bow and initially appeared in a Young Avengers issue. The character of Yelena Belova, the adoptive sister of Natasha Romanov lovably played by Florence Pugh in this year's Black Widow solo film will also make a comeback in Hawkeye. Note that the last time we saw her was Madame Hydra, Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine telling Yelena that Hawkeye is responsible for her sister' death.
The episodes for the series are planned to be released weekly until 22 December, after its special two episode debut on 24 November on Disney+.
